Cookies and Milk for Santa

This year I decided to leave cookies and milk for Santa
(and carrots for his reindeer) packed in a glass jar
rather than set out on a plate...

Maybe you have a glass cookie jar or trifle bowl sitting around?
Use what you have and package up your treats neatly...

First I filled the bottom of the glass jar with some tiny
candy canes, then got my supplies together...
carrots, wax paper, a boxed organic milk (for a healthy
snack, Santa!!), cookies, a free vintage printable,
and some yarn/ribbon to adorn the glass jar...

Cut a square of wax paper and wrap up the carrots so
the moisture doesn't affect the cookies (if you've had
them in the fridge)...

tie a little ribbon around the paper and place the carrots
in the glass jar...

settle your boxed milk (this is just a neater option rather than
a glass of milk sloshing around) and your cookies into the jar...

Go visit the Graphics Fairy for some vintage clip art
to stick in the back of your glass jar...
tie a little ribbon and yarn around the outside, as well...

I printed the Vintage Santa and the Antique postcard from
the Graphics Fairy...you could write a note to Santa
on the postcard, or take your little one's sweet letter to
the Man and clip it on with a clothespin...

What a nice, neat way to leave treats for Santa and
carrots for his reindeer!!
Happy Holidays Friends!

I loved that you put carrots in there! I would have never thought of that!

So cute! I love how you wrapped the carrots. The print is adorable too.
