The Sugarloaf Bungalow

Our darling little Sugarloaf Bungalow has been a dream to decorate!
The previous owners had lovingly remodeled this home and we were
fortunate to find it in turn-key condition.  My favorite element is the swing
in the living room! When I saw this on the MLS I knew I had to visit this
property! Inspired by the living room swing and other swings I've seen lately,
I added one more to the upstairs' bedroom. Take a look at this cute
bungalow and visit VRBO HERE if you're interested in booking.

The bungalow is just 900 square feet, but the interior is open and has
a great flow to it.

How adorable is the garden swing? This is not a large space so
we left this cute swing as is and added two new sofas. My dream
leather sofa just wasn't practical because I wanted one of the sofas
to be a sleeper sofa.....So after some searching around we found a
model that we could get in sleeper and non-sleeper and grabbed two.

You'll see the two upstairs bedrooms below, but we wanted to offer
the option of a few more guests *even if it means sleeping on the sleeper sofa-
who cares? You're in the mountains!

We gathered up some fun games, DVDs, and records for fun times by the fire.
Do you need a record player in your life? This one is super nice and
inexpensive...

Just for the holidays, we had to get a cute skinny Christmas tree!
This guy fit perfectly in the little hallway to the kitchen...

Our little welcome area holds the WiFi info (super important for guests!),
a guest book, and a binder full of useful information (menus and fun things to
do in the resort town). We also filled up the cabinet with some basic
necessities such as a first aid kit, lighters for the fireplace, and
directions to all small appliances.

Cozy and perfect for a home cooked meal...

Moving upstairs to the two cute bedrooms and upstairs balcony....

My favorite room is this one with the twin beds and the swing....let's say it's the
"kids" room, kids young and old! I'd love to hang out in this room:)

These amazing reclaimed barn-wood shutters arrived after we had our photo shoot, but here is an iPhone pic and you can find them on Amazon from BarnWood USA.

and....this fun little swing! Did you know Amazon has hand-made goods? I
found this from Andy Macrame...

We found these darling vintage skis and some vintage snowshoes
to deck out the room. The cabin signs are from my all time favorite store
on the mountain, Cabin Fever.

This little half bath is situated in the "kids" room....

On to the second bedroom with the queen bed...  Can you see the sweet little balcony
off this room? It has the best views of the pines and is perfect for a cup of coffee
or glass of wine.

These snowshoes also came from Cabin Fever.
The red/black buffalo check duvet and shams are from Pottery Barn
you can find them HERE
or similar on Amazon...

Make yourself at home and put away your snow clothes in the drawers
