Do you find that your cookies {homemade or store-bought}
don't keep that fresh baked taste for long?
well, here's a little tip from my father-in-law (a.k.a. Pappa)...
you'll just need a slice of bread and a container for your cookies
simply place the slice of bread at the bottom of the jar, container,
or in a large ziplock bag
your cookies will keep that fresh baked taste and stay soft...
amazing!
{the bottom cookie resting on the bread might get too soft, so you
can easily remedy this by placing a piece of wax paper over the
bread and then layer in your cookies}

Hey Melodee! I have heard of this little trick, but have never tried it. We like the soft and chewy cookies in our house. The hard crunchy ones usually get thrown out...XoXo
Or, you could just eat them all up as soon as you bake them....OHHH that is why I don't bake cookies!! I bet you had a fun day off from school!!
