happy Friday! 

pretty much all of my pictures are 

from the fun anniversary weekend

the hubs and I enjoyed last week...

museum hopping at Balboa Park 

what a gorgeous day...our splash of cold is gone 

and we lavished in 70 degree weather this day~

so, this chocolate exhibit was THE BEST...

we really loved this life sized wall of chocolates...

and of course the exhibit dumps you out in to 

none other than a little candy store filled with chocolates :) 

we stayed at this amazing little hotel in the Gaslamp Quarter 

with an awesome rooftop bar and a perfect view of Petco Park~Padres field...

we sat by the outdoor fire and had a drink while the sun set...

we are not big fancy travelers, but we thought this room was pretty cool...

there was even a Keurig machine!!!

this was too funny...in the little international cottages at 

Balboa Park the U.S. cottage had this sitting on the piano...

we have a truckload of teenagers right now,

they don't sing {maybe others do...but not ours} 

to top it all off a full-blown prime rib dinner {this is the life} 

linking up with...

back to reality now but what a fun, relaxing weekend that was! happy Friday :)
