Peanut Butter Frosting

Peanut butter-vanilla buttercream frosting

½ cup soft butter (1 stick)
4 cups powdered sugar
¼ cup milk
2 tsp vanilla
½ cup creamy peanut butter

1. beat butter until smooth inmixer
2. beat in remaining ingredientsuntil smooth, about two minutes. Add additional milk a little at a time ifthinner consistency is desired.

· chocolate/peanut butterfrosting: substitute ½ cupbaking cocoa for ½ cup of the powdered sugar

I I had to post this recipe, it has become a family/friend fav around here! I hope you like it dolloped onto moist chocolate cupcakes!

start with all of your ingredients...

mix butter, add in powdered sugar, then vanilla and milk...

Mix on high speed until light and fluffy...

Pipe on your frosting with a decorator like this one from Pampered Chef
or just frost with a butter knife...

be generous!!!

YUM! I'm not a master decorator... as you can see...the most important
thing is that you can eat these sandwich style at our house.
This is where you take off the cupcake liner, twist the bottom half
of your cupcake off, then place it on top of the frosting and eat
sandwich style. This way you get the most out of your frosting
experience. We don't mess around. I was raised by a mother who
made REAL buttercream frosting and decorated Wilton style:)
Enjoy!!

I like a person who doesn't mess around when it comes to frosting! Love the idea of eating a cupcake sandwich style--fun!
