Fudge Pops

Hello friends! I am thrilled to be a guest

This recipe idea for Fudge Pops
is a sweet little treat for the holidays...
and don't be confused!
These are not the 45 calorie Fudge Pops
from your freezer isle!
These Fudge Pops are the REAL DEAL!
Fudge on a stick (a peppermint stick to be exact!))...

You will need:
small candy canes, 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips,
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk, 1/4 cup butter,
and 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional), small bite sized
cupcake liners, and wooden skewers (or sticks of some
sort to hold up candy canes while fudge sets)...

Place butter, chocolate chips, and sweetened condensed milk in
a large microwavable bowl. Zap in microwave on medium until
chips are melted, about 3-5 minutes, stirring once or twice during
cooking. Stir in nuts if desired.

Arrange the bite sized cupcake holders in a pan and line
up skewers along each row to hold up candy canes
while the fudge sets in the fridge...

using an ice-cream scooper or large spoon, quickly spoon
the fudge into each paper holder, then place an unwrapped candy
cane into the fudge...lean the top of the candy can against
the skewer to keep it in place while fudge hardens...

Place the entire tray of fudge pops into the fridge and allow
to set for about 1 hour.

Serve all together, each little fudge pop is simply delicious
when eaten as a whole! The burst of peppermint is just perfect
if you peel off the wrapper and pop the fudge into your mouth!!

OR...you could wrap them up individually for little gifts...

Enjoy!
May your holidays be sweet and filled with
happy memories!

Those look really good, I never would've thought to stick a candy cane in my fudge. That's a great idea!
