Sew up a note

Sew a few do-dads onto a postcard note..

I found this amazingly cute border at the teacher's store this fall...
it looks like a long strip of doilies:)
You can use the same border, or regular doilies just cut them in half to fit your cards...
then you will need some pompom fringe and a sewing machine..

take your notecard, layer on a strip of the border (if you can find it at
the teacher's store) or a half or section of a doily..line it up and stitch a line across the top

so sweet and fancy looking!

use as place cards, to send a note, invite guests to Thanksgiving, etc...

p.s. sorry I couldn't find a link to the border from the teacher's store. I was swooning over
this border when I found it in the store, too good to be true!!! I layered it in my classroom over
a bright yellow fadeless sheet of butcher paper, with a country stars border as an accent, it's
so cute I love it!!
