we had an amazing weekend in Catalina for Father's Day...
the girls and I all fell in love with the goodies at
this cucumber melon lotion is scrumptious...
and this little tiny coconut votive is sooooo fragrant....
we took a tour of the Casino
which has never ever had gambling inside...
we learned that "casino" was a name for a gathering/dancing place...
it wasn't until after the 40s that gambling and casinos became one
we hiked over to the Wrigley memorial and botanical gardens....
this island is the cutest place ever, I seriously could live there...
check out this view~
this was taken on our 3 hour golf cart ride around Avalon
here we are soooo excited to take off in our golf cart...yippeeee...
our driver, and celebrated Father's Day guest...
ahhhhh, another view from the back road...so beautiful!
we were sooo happy to find out ABBA was playing down by the water...
ok, the ABBA cover band, but they were incredible :)
the drummer toured with the real deal so we were impressed
{and crazy enough, we knew all the words to ALL the songs...
I think I took the kids to see Mamma Mia at the movies 4 times
as well as the play down in LA...haha, we were happy}

How fun! It has been ten years since I have been to Catalina. I think the food is so good! I always thought that was a casino. I never went in. I like it more now. I heard they are having a crazy water shortage. I hope it gets better for them (and all of California!).
Beautiful pictures. I love your outfit!
